Attached are some helpful hints to help in the final finish.
We suggest using some bedding compound Like Acura-Glas or colored Epoxy to seal and protect the breech and tang area from stress and grime.
We can’t do it in the white since we don’t know what color your final finish will be.
Acura-glas comes with its own tint tubes. Epoxy can be colored with Tempra (powdered poster paint) and you can use Vaseline as a release agent.
The nose cap has been epoxied in place, so if it wants to stick to the barrel, heat from a heat gun, hair dryer or torch will release it and you can epoxy it back in place when you’re done.
Use your Tung oil or whatever finish you choose to seal everything including the lock mortice, barrel channel, butt plate cut, and all inlets.
