The inspiration for this gun came from our good friend “Gentleman Jack “Duprey.
He had a chance to build one directly from an original. When done, it was hard to tell the difference.
These guns have a unique style and are known for their simplicity, slim lines, and pencil thin appearance.

Our version starts with a super thin stock in CM-4 curly maple mated to a slender ¾”x 42” Rice barrel in 32 caliber with a 1×48 round ball twist.
The barrel is breeched with the extra long straight tang to reinforce the thin wrist.
It The lock of choice is the new L&R Small #2400 Germanic styled flintlock, Its compact design and extremely fast lock times are the perfect combination for this finely designed rifle. It is tripped by RE Davis #4 adjustable double set triggers for sure fire release and deadly accuracy.
The Southern style steel trim has been chosen for their slim flowing lines, accentuating the long thin lines of this beautiful gun. Even the swooping butt plate is only 7/8” in width.
It has a very noticeable curved butt, meant to be held to your arm rather than the shoulder. Each chosen piece is very thin with matching ends.
The front sight is an iron blade and the rear is a typical southern style buckhorn.
The length of pull is left uncut so you can personalize it for a perfect fit and at an overall weight of only 7.4 lbs this will soon become your favorite “go to” muzzleloader.
