It quickly became the favorite of the Voyageur, fur traders and Rogers Rangers throughout Canada and the Mississippi River valley. Of the natives the traders wrote, “Une fois qu’ils en auroient cannula difference, on ne pourvoit plus leu ren faire accepter d’autres”
