This is a Seneca Indian Style heavy throwing knife. 
The High Carbon Steel blade is 7 inches long, and the hilt is 5 inches long, for a 12-inch-long knife. The width is 1 1/4 inches and is 1/4 inch thick. 
The hilt is covered with 7-8 thick leather attached by 4 steel cutler rivets for easy changing if damaged. The sheath is 5-6 leather made for a snug fit. This knife will not fall out.
