RB- 368 Early full stock

It should be remembered that hunting in the old country was a pastime reserved for those could afford land and most of these were nobility.

Their fowling pieces and rifles were prized possessions, reflecting their wealth and status.

Poaching was a serious crime.

Barrels for their guns came from the finest makers and stocks were of the highest quality available (A novelty that “gentlemen sports men”of the period enjoyed in their travels throughout continental Europe)

Some of these guns made it to the Colonies and became the standard for the immigrant gun makers of the time. Here hunting was a daily necessity for food as well as protection.

Here is a selection of custom parts that reflect the fruits of their labor. The best of everything.

You won’t see another one like it. The stock has characteristics of both fowler and rifle heritage.

Her is what makes it unique!

  • Rice Premium swamped Custom Profile 43” barrel in 50 caliber with 1×66 ROT.
  • Barrel is milled for four underlugs and both front and rear sights.
  • Drilled and tapped for 5/16 vent liner
