They say “don’t bring a tomahawk to a gun fight”, but this awesome weapon may change their minds. This takes “war club” to a whole new level. As a blanket gun it is meant to be carried by its woven strap over the shoulder and out of sight. It is indeed the early version of a true concealed weapon used in the Cherokee war in NC. 1763-1765
In a skirmish situation, after the first shot your gun became a club anyway. This one is still a deadly weapon in several ways. It still has its solid ram rod so a second shot is possible if you had time to reload. It’s a smoothbore, so loading is easy and the results are wicked when loaded with just about anything to thin out the crowd.

The barrel is an octagon to round 20 ga. 1”x10”.
It is pinned to the hardwood maple stock decorated with antiqued brass tacks. It provides a great grip when used as a club and long enough for a two handed grip.
The ignition is by the L&R Trade lock firing into a drilled and coned vent by means of a plated long single trigger. It’s a great sparker. The trim is in antiqued brass with patina.

The hardwood maple stock ends with a wicked cast engraved brass tomahawk head fastened to the comb to make this a very wicked war club. We have matched the cast engraved brass trim . Shawnee Indian
The elaborately brass cast engraved tomahawk head does not get in the way when held like a pistol and it’s long enough for both hands if necessary as a club The hardened steel blade is captured in the brass so it can be easily sharpened. It’ a beautiful piece!
