They were repaired and repurposed into other types of serviceable weapons such as this handheld firearm, carried unseen by a shoulder strap under the cape or robe, and aptly referred to as the blanket gun.

This Sitting Fox Kit blanket gun kit has all the parts necessary to build this unique, historically correct reproduction, and customize it to fit your own mystery history of its origin. Here are the specs.

• Plain Maple stock inlet for Barrel, ram rod, lock, tang, trigger and carved for beaver tails on lock mortice and tang moldings on wrist.
• 12”x1” oct/rnd 20 ga. barrel breeched.
• L&R Early Penn Flintlock
• L&R plated single trigger
