The Musket maker is unknown. There are no makers’ marks on the barrel, stock, or lock.
The barrel is 55″ long and has a smooth, shiny bore. This gives the overall length 72 inches.
The lock is a round-faced fowler lock in the style of the early 1700s.
The length of pull is 14 1/2 inches, and the musket only weighs 7lb 7oz.
The stock is long and slim and is perfectly suited to the style of musket.
The stock is Walnut.
The furniture is all handmade from brass, except the trigger guard.
The Butt Plate is made from the bottom of a brass pot from the Revolutionary War.
This is a musket that will turn heads wherever you take it.
