This hunting kit is newly built by ColonialRifleSmith. The kit is a .62 cal. 20ga. Smoothbore Kentucky Long Gun with Hunting Accessories included. All the items were hand made by ColonialRifleSmith.

The set includes the gun, a possibles bag, powder horn with strap, camp knife with sheath, short starter, and whisk and vent pick.

The possibles bag and powder horn are made so they can be carried on either your right or left side.

The gun has a .62 cal., 20ga., 38-inch octagon to round barrel with a solder on brass blade front sight, and a dove tailed Kentucky style rear sight.

The stock is a very nice M2 Curley Red Maple colored with an American Walnut Antique Stain with Red Undertones.

The lock is an L&R Manton Flintlock. Also known as the Baby Durs Egg Lock. Well known for reliability and fast touch-off.

The furniture is antiqued brass, except the Kentucky Banana Style Patch Box, which is antiqued steel.

The ramrod is polished, brown Durlin with a brass trumpet rod tip.

There’s nothing fancy about this working man’s gun. The gun sports a single trigger set for easy touch-off. No side plate or frillies. Just a reliable game getting gun.

The length of pull is 14-inches. The total length is 54.5 inches. The gun weighs in at a light 7.4 pounds.
